The Romanian Chapter of Transparency International was established on June 24, 1999 by a group of institutions and individual persons representing civil society organizations, media, business sector, magistrates, independent attorneys, and economic and social sciences experts.
Irrespective of their particular background, our members share the common interest in rendering more systematic and more professional the involvement of the Romanian civil society in the anti-corruption activities.
